New discoveries on Tran Dynasty found in Quang Ninh

Artefacts of Tran Dynasty such as bricks, tiles, fragments of a tower have recently been discovered in Ngoa Van, Dong Trieu commune, Quang Ninh northern province.
 

These discoveries were found through archaeological excavacations early this year.

Particularly, in Da Chong area, for the first time, a vestige of tile kiln of the 18th century was discovered.

Ngoa Van is a place of many religious building, including Ngoa Van pagoda and Ngoa Van small temple which are closely related to the religious life of King Tran Nhan Tong.
